These words from Richard Bach describe the atmosphere in which Christian Scientists can study Christian Science nursing in Le Verger. Teacher, trainees and sometimes an interpreter learn and discover together what the professional ethics of a Christian Science nurse include and how they are applied in the practical work of Christian Science nursing. All participants in a Christian Science nursing class are at once learners, doers and teachers. This sort of learning is a joyous and inspiring voyage of discovery – a stimulating adventure for everyone who decides to answer God’s call.

Ever since the first one-day seminar on the idea of Christian Science nursing was held in June 2006, the training program has been steadily growing and expanding and has been continually in demand. Since August 2006 there has been no month without seminars or classes being held. Thus a new team of nurses could be established, receiving continuous training. Nurses from Switzerland, Germany and France have also participated in courses and received further training.

A special aspect about learning at Le Verger is that this takes place in various languages, French, German and English, according to the needs of participants. Each class and the practical work accompanying it is organized individually; the time-frame is flexible.
