Christian Science Nursing
Christian Science nursing is a healing ministry grounded in the Bible and the teachings of Christian Science, as set forth in the writings of Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. It is an activity defined by the Manual of The Mother Church.
Christian Science Nurse. SECT. 31. A member of The Mother Church who represents himself or herself as a Christian Science nurse shall be one who has a demonstrable knowledge of Christian Science practice, who thoroughly understands the practical wisdom necessary in a sick room, and who can take proper care of the sick. The cards of such persons may be inserted in The Christian Science Journal under rules established by the publishers. (Manual, 49).
Christian Science Nurses Education with Le Verger
Le Verger is able to accept candidates for in-house Christian Science nurses education or employment in Switzerland provided they hold a valid Swiss or European Union passport.
Le Verger offers a fully accredited Christian Science nurses education program that encompasses all four levels (Levels I–IV). The program combines both classroom instruction and practical experience through side-by-side mentoring and support.
Our instructor team provides Christian Science nurses education to members of The Mother Church who have a “demonstrable knowledge of Christian Science practice” (Manual, 49:7–16) and who are dedicated to serving in the healing ministry of Christian Science nursing.
The program begins with the Spiritual Dimension of Care seminar, which introduces candidates to Christian Science nursing as a Manual-based activity grounded in the Bible and the theology of Christian Science as taught by Mary Baker Eddy.
Upon acceptance, each student is guided step by step through Levels I–IV, beginning with an introduction to Christian Science nursing and progressing through advanced training and preparation for Journal-listing.
